The General Directorate of Architecture, Urban Planning, and Land Relations announces the launch of the official website for the Chișinău 2040 General Urban Plan project, available at https://pug.chisinau.md.

The platform serves as the primary digital space for information, transparency, and public participation dedicated to the process of updating the General Urban Plan of Chișinău. Its purpose is to facilitate public access to information regarding the project’s progress and to encourage the active involvement of citizens, experts, and all stakeholders in the urban planning process.

At this stage, the platform provides:

general information about the Chișinău 2040 General Urban Plan project;
the stages of developing the General Urban Plan;
the schedule of activities and public consultations;
a section dedicated to news and official announcements;
documents and materials published to date;
information about the institutions and team involved in implementing the project;
official contact information for communicating with the project team.

The platform is designed as a dynamic tool and will be continuously updated as the urban planning documentation process progresses.

The following will be published in the coming period:

background studies;
documents related to public consultations;
presentations and informational materials;
consultation reports and summaries of the recommendations received;
planning documents and other materials developed as part of the project;
information on the implementation stages and results achieved.

Thus, the platform will become the official digital archive of the process to update the Chișinău 2040 General Urban Plan, providing free access to information of public interest and ensuring transparency throughout the entire process of developing urban planning documentation.

The process of updating the Chișinău 2040 General Urban Plan is coordinated by the Chișinău City Hall, through the General Directorate of Architecture, Urban Planning, and Land Relations. The urban planning documentation is being developed by the ARHICON Consortium, while methodological, organizational, logistical, communications, and digital support is provided by the INFOERA Public Association, in collaboration with the partner institutions involved in the project.

We invite you to visit and explore the PUG Chișinău 2040 platform, the official digital space dedicated to project information and transparency, where you can follow the progress of the General Urban Plan update in real time and access the documents and information published throughout its implementation.
